Brian Graduation

Hi, my name is Brian Anding and I am 19 years old. Currently, I go to Macomb Community College in Michigan. I will be transferring to Lawerence Tech for their construction technology program in two years. During the day I work with my dad's construction company and at night I go to school. It's easy to say I have a full plate!  When my brother Eric and I started making the Tiger Tails, I saw it as an opportunity to make some extra cash.

I like getting involved in most any sport activity such as football, baseball, working out or playing hockey on our homemade ice rink.  When St. Clement High School closed in 2004, my mother started home schooling my brother Eric and me.  She now tutors about 30 kids ranging from second grade to college freshman.  While attending St. Clement, I lettered in Varsity football and baseball.

My main hobby is cars. Right now I drive a '06 yellow GT Mustang which I paid for myself and hope to soup up someday.  I also enjoy getting to learn new professions, and I am hoping that by selling Tiger Tails I will further my understanding of the business world.

Tiger Tails

My name is Eric Anding and I'm 16 years old. I am home schooled by my mom and work with my dad (he has a construction company), whenever I can.  I really like being home schooled because I can work hard all week and then get Friday's off to work with my dad and my brother Brian.  My hobbies include flying model airplanes, which I make myself and buying and selling motorcycles.   I have been flying model airplanes for a year and have been buying and selling motorcycles since I was thirteen.

I started out selling lemonade on Mackinac Island with my brother when I was ten.   When I was twelve I sold my Lionel train collection on eBay and used the money to buy two motorcycles.  I sold them for a nice profit and now I am in the Tiger Tail business.  My brother, my grandpa and I thought of the idea when we were talking about classic cars and the old GTO's.  Grandpa mentioned how back around 1964, some oil company had an advertising campaign with tiger tails hanging out of GTO gas tanks with the slogan, "A tiger in your tank."  That's when we thought about having a tiger tail coming out of your trunk and decided to try making one.  For the sample I took one of my Dad's knee-high socks and stuffed it with other socks and slammed Brian's car trunk on it.   That was our first Tiger Tail.  From then on my family and I have been making and selling Tiger Tails.  Right now we're working on several new Tiger Tails™ items: one is a Tiger Tail scarf and the others are ... well you'll be seeing them soon!
