We thought one of the best ways to get our Tiger Tails™ noticed (on our zero
advertising budget), would be to try and get some publicity on radio and TV. Four of
Detroit's most popular morning show celebrities , Dick Purtan (WOMC), JJ
& Lynne (WCSX)
and Greg Bowman (WWJ)
were kind enough to interview us (live) on their radio stations. We also had TV interviews
with Channel 2 News and ESPN cable news.When we started
receiving orders from the interviews, we really got excited! That's when we started
contacting everybody we could think of including local newspapers, TV stations and even
the Mayors' offices. Below are five links you can click to hear some of our actual radio
interviews. We can't thank the radio hosts enough for their kindness in taking the time to
talk with us. We thought it was pretty neat.
Interview Nos. 1-3 are from the Dick Purtan Show (WOMC).
Interview #4 was done with radio station WLKF in Lakeland, FL., with Mr.
Mark Stevens. Mr. Stevens along with WLKF Program Director, Brian Bruchey have been
instrumental in helping us get Tiger Tails noticed in Lakeland! (For those of you may not
know this, Lakeland, FL is where the Detroit Tigers have their March spring training).
Interview #5 took place on Opening Day with JJ and Lynne on radio
station WCSX.
Interview #6 was with radio host Greg Bowman on station WWJ, during their
"Young Entrepreneurs" segment.
We're still working on uploading the video interviews from TV2 News and ESPN. Watch
